[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1] I think I have removed something important from my computer. I had a probelm with my winsock (which someone walked me through). I was also told to remove some spyware stuff. I think I might have removed something important. Now when I log on I see the wait cursor forever and then I can only click into control panel from the start menu. Everything generally freezes after a couple minutes (or seconds). and an error message saying drwatson debugger has to shut down. and then another messge saying application failed comes on.

I have my office discs but my dell came preloaded with windows, so I don't have any operating discs. HELP Tell me what to do or buy (or smash really hard with my fists!)

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

I don't know if you can use this pc to access the internet right now, it sounds like your are kind of limited, but try to get the file on there maybe with a floppy disk or cd. We need that log. Let me know how it goes.
