For the last few weeks I have been having a lot of pop-ups that say mmov at the top, but if I had to cancel them from my task manager there would be a mysterious program running called Project 1... This morning I tried opening up my usual programs and they froze, so I looked in my task manager to see if they were not responding and once again this mysterious Project 1 was running and under processes there was a file called mrjj.exe running at 100%... once I closed down Project 1 things opened up again... at first I was unable to run Symantec AntiVirus and there was an error... I went into my control panel and found this best offers thing and uninstalled it and thought everything was fixed because I was able to run my Virus Scan.... Not so... The last 3 hours I've been running all the programs you have said to run before a topic is posted then did a re-boot with no victory.... I am at a loss here.... Please help...

You are running Hijackthis from a temporary file,but Hijackthis should be in a permanent folder to save its backups in case we need to undo any changes. Please delete the one you currently have.

• Download HijackThis again by clicking here,but don’t hit “Open”, but “Save as”. Then navigate to your desktop, and hit “Save”. After downloading, minimize all windows until you’re on your desktop.
• Now double-click on the zip file containing the HijackThis.exe file. Select the HijackThis.exe, and hit the combination “Ctrl + C”.
• Minimize the zipfolder, and go to My Computer. Double-click on C:/.
• In the menu bar you’ll find “File”. Click it, then choose “New”, and then “Folder”.
• Call this folder HijackThis. Double-click to open this - new - folder.
• Now use the combination “Ctrl + V” to paste the HijackThis.exe into this folder. Now double-click on the HijackThis.exe in the folder you’ve just created and please post a new log.
