How to add ANIMATIONS to your posts.
It is kinda complicated at first but after awhile it becomes
second nature

1. Right click on the animation and click on "properties" from the
menu that appears.

2. Highlight the URL of the animation or image and right click on it then
select "copy" from that menu...(It will be a very long address beginning
with 'http.' (Then click on the word 'ok.'

3. Go to your GEEK post area and type in

4. Then right click next next after the ] (no spaces) and select
"paste" from the edit menu in the upper left corner.

5. Add to the end of the address.......

6. If you want you can try practicing on this picture.

I have been gone all evening to a library meeting.

When I saw your post with all the pink elephants, I laughed out loud.

Thanks for the laugh.

Great topic flowergirl
Great instructions for adding animations !

A word of caution here however, Some members may see this topic and want to read on how to do so, Keep in mind some of our members are on dial up and this topic will take some time to load for, Lets not get to carried away with multiple animations in each reply,

No I m not a party popper :)

Dear party pooper Don.~lol~(Where is your pink elephant?)
It does make me SMILE when I see the fun the kids are having.
As well as us OLDER kids.

I am on $13.95 per month PeoplePc pokey dial up. Windows XP Home, 256 MB PC2100
DDR SDRAM. 40 GB ATA-1007200rpm Western Digital, 32 Mb nVidia TNT 11 ABP video card.
900 MHz AMD Duron (And NO I don't know what any of the above mean but thought you might.)
I think it has a little to do with the computer speed. We had our computer custom built.

When I add more than one animation, I just copy and paste including the

I WILL add a warning though, along with yours.
It is my understanding that we aren't suppose to have more than 100KB in our
animations per message.

Each pink elephant is 7.92 KB so they should be OK.
I like this walking green aligator (14.1 KB) with the pink elephant.

SMILES, Janie
