hey guys big problem my hard drive took a dump and does not work anymore and it had windows on it. i still have my xp install disk and i have another hard drive.but since i cant start up windows im not able to install it.

just to let u guys know im not an expert at computers but i know i little bit.

Try booting to your Windows XP install disk. It should work by putting it in while the computer is booting up or you might have to specify to boot from disk.

is this a full version install of xp or an upgrade?
