I've just installed a new cd rewriter which came with Nero Media Player. Nero Media Player has now become my default media player, instead of the Windows Media Player, which I prefer. How can I make new video/audio files automatically start with Windows Media Player and not with Nero?

By the way, I have Windows 98

Open Media Player, click tools, options, file types, click select all, click apply, close Media Player, open a file you want it to play

Thank You for letting me know you have reset the default player

In general, media players set themselves as the default player during installation
