You put the XP cd in, reboot your computer and when you see the message 'press any key to boot from cd...' press a key and windows setup will start. Then when you get to the first screen where you have to enter input, you hit R to go to the RECOVERY CONSOLE.

Just say when you are in the Recovery Console and I will tell you what to do.

That's a repair install. But I would let it go through anyways. Maybe your computer can fix itself by redoing the operating system files like it seems to be doing now. As long as it went right to COPYING FILES and did say FORMATTING your settings/files will be intact.

Uh OH :tazz: it says it installing windows please tell me this is good :) its going to take about 40 mins so im going go bc i have get up 2morrow thnxs for all ur help anyways :) really appreciated
