For some reason or another, my WMP stopped playing my cds, the only ones that it will play are the ones that are already downloaded onto my computer, I get an error message saying that " WMP cannot find the specified file, Be sure the path is typed correctly, if it is the file does not exist at the specified location or the computer where the file is stored is offline" I've gone to the options tab and done everthing with the network options that can be legaly done with out an officer present, somebody please tell me what to do to fix this.

P.S. next time highlight what you typed and then choose a font. It will work that way :woot:

Thank you, what I'm trying to do is to just put a regular CD in my cd player, and trying to use WMP to play the music, it was working fine about 2 weeks ago and then one day it stop working and I started getting the error messages, I'm not trying to run any program through the media player, just the music, all videos and everything else with the player works fine. Thank you for taking time to help.

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go.

Have you installed anything about 2 weeks ago? New program? Upgraded the computer?

Also, what anti-virus software do you use? Anti-spyware? Firewall?
