can some one help.(i have more than one problem but we'll start at the beginning!!!)
when i try to use the COMMAND option from "start run" iget the following error-
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\COMMAND.COM
SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\VIRTUALDEVICEDRIVERS
VIRTUAL DEVICE DRIVER FORMAT IN THE REGISTRY IS INVALID.CHOOSE CLOSE TO TERMINATE THE APPLICATION.

i have tried the microsoft web site and mcafee with no success.i would class myself as a novice but i know how to go into files etc.the more i try the more i think i'm mucking it up.help would be appreciated.

i'm running windows xp and have the AVG program running. (i am new to forums so bear with me!)

appreciate the speedy response tyger.its working better than it was ,will keep you posted if thats ok.

although i still get the command error pop up if i click ignore it works , so the problem seems to be solved.thanks for your help.
