ok i did the repair but not working still

now do i need to do all the updates first

Yes, do all the updates...you may have to make several visits.

Have these ports ever worked? I am in the process of researching any known issues with your mainboard...nothing yet. Will go through your system component by component until we find the problem.

Might have found the problem...Restart the machine and go into BIOS setup by pressing the Delete key during the boot sequence. Under the "Advance" menu, check to see that the "Legacy USB Support" in enabled. If it is not, enable it using the + or - key and then press F10 to "Save and Exit" and press Esc to exit BIOS. Reboot your machine and try the USB ports.

i just went into the bios and there is no choice for legacy usb support
