mp3 in fedora core 4 :( not playing

hello guyz ..

me installed fedora core 4 working all well but not playing mp3's i install gstreamer done well could you plz tell me

how to play coz its giving

ALSA device error

when i test the speaker sound from sound card it works well but not playing mp3's

fedora core does not support mp3 playback by default. you need to install it back into xmms. its a copyright thing, since redhat 8
