I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My friends computer is infected with the adware ISTbar.b in C:\program file\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe
The problem is that the adware is stopping her from accessing the internet as whenever she tries to go to a webpage the message - this page cannot be displayed, you may need to change your browser settings - appears and the page is redirected to IS searches.
So she can't get on the internet to download any type of adware removal program. I deleted the istsvc.exe file in the add/remove programs but that has made no difference.
I have no idea how to sort it out without the internet, so if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
