I then tried to open the Java Consol, but couldn't?
I went through the below instructions, but it was already enabled and i still couldn't open it

Click Tools | Internet Options
Click the Advanced tab
Place a checkmark beside Java Console Enabled and click the OK button
Close all of your Internet Explorer windows


but after all that the good news is I got an all clear from the Panda scan.

Haven't had any of those annoying pop ups,
however mouse has been a bit unresponsive a couple of times,
norton firewall is telling me that i don't have the necessay rights to configure it.
in my wife's settings internet explorer crashed, just once for no apparent reason.

what do you think?

Let's see if there is another infection in there:

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter. This will scan your computer and it may appear nothing is happening, then, after a minute or 2, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it into this thread.

I'm consulting the team about this. I don't see a cause in the log. Please hold.

Let's check:

• From the Start menu, select Run.
• In the Open field, type sfc /scannow (Note: There is a space between sfc and /scannow)
• Select the OK button.
• Follow the prompts throughout the System File Checker process.
• Reboot the computer when System File Checker completes.

Let me know what happend.

Did that, but had to leave the pc for a minute, when I came back the checker process had finished and there was no info.

Still don't have the rights to my norton firewall but according to symantec if i reinstall it that should fix the problem.
