Outlook fails

Hi, i recently tried to install thunderbird on my computer and it was never able to connect no matter what I tried, so I uninstalled it. Now i cant get outlook to open properly, when I attempt to open it it freezes (the program) on its startup. Is there anything i can do to reset my outlook settings if i cant get the program open? (it also wont start in safe mode)
