So basically, you have a forums and you want it to update itself?
Have a look at the phpbb forum code.
Doenload it for free at http://www.phpbb.com

no...i want it to be that the active topics that are at the "CODE=getactive" place (which updates on its own and I've tried looking at the code and it isn't the right code because it looks like it's all done by hand) are updated on a webpage that is for the forum, but is not a part of it yet...and I'm trying to basically get it to do the same thing that the home page on angelroms.com has on it's home page.
So please...if you know the code, or anything that could help...please...

Oh!
So basically, instead of updating every page on your website, you want them all to refer to like an online file, and when you change the online file, it will update all your web pages linked to that file without you lifting a finger?
I had exactly the same problem as that. Now i use this content managment system called mambo.
Its really good, easy to use, does its job and its FREE!
Check out http://www.mamboserver.com or http://mamboforge.net
Downloaded it. Its really easy! If you want the menu to change, you can get the menu to change and be updated on every page with just a click of a button! Yes, its that simple!

so with this thing all of the links in the active topics part of a forum to have the last 10 active topics in a table or div on a page?
And also...can it be used on freewebs? Cause there are a lot of things you can't do on freewebs

I think the two of you are talking about completely different things, lol. Little silver rose, I think you should check out the FAQ page of your forum provider, the function you're speaking of should be a function included in the forum software, you probably just haven't found it. Anyways, that's my suggestion
