ok than best think you can do RESTORING your pc..how start-->Help and Support
clic on " System Restore " and choose the option restore my computer to an earlier time, and "next".there is a calendar leftside and choose day which day you want to go...examle in your case you can choose december 27,28,29,30,31 (which one is avalible ha?"it means you can only choose highlihgt number", and you cant choose other numbers because there is no restore point on them)

after doing that i hope you have no problem ...

just try and nothing to loose...
