Ever since a few days ago , I have not been able to access the internet on my main computer. Everything is connectly properly , and it shows I have a functioning IP Adress. Obviously , it's not functioning. Also , I have attempted many tries and renew my IP adress by simply going into CMD and typing in ipconfig /renew. It states " An error occured while renewing interface Local Area Connection : An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket. " Any suggestions , or solutions perhaps? I am running Windows XP , by the way.

I think you should type IPCONFIG /RELEASE as the first step, then renew and see what happens
