New motherboard

Hi

I have gigabyte 7n400 pro2 motherboard and have installed all hardware myself, everytime i boot i get a wizard opening upasking me to install a sataraid 3512..i know i need to turn the raid facility off as i dont want this faciltity, i know i need to do this in the bios but appartenly i need to update the bios where and how do i do this and is this calling flashing the bios? step by step would be great as newbie

You should be able to disable RAID without having to update your BIOS. Not every system is the same, so you'll need to consult your manual. If you get stuck, just ask and we'll look up your manual, and try to help.
