dvd writer - a burning issue

would any kind person care to tell me what i need to do to sort out my dvd writer? i dont have much memory left on my pc so im trying to put a load of files onto a dvd.. so everytime i try and burn a dvd (im using Nero 6.6.0.16) it stops with an error pretty much straight away ( at 1%).. i got this error log below..

..also i tried running the test drive feature of nero and it told me LOGICAL BLOCK ADDRESS OUT OF RANGE (052100)
