This application has encountered a critical error:

FATAL ERROR!

Program: d:\program files\warcraft iii\war3.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 001b:00441794

The instruction at '0x00441794' referenced memory at '0x000D02AC'.
The memory could not be 'read'.

Press OK to terminate the application.

I recently replaced my ram, to get rid of pretty constant Blue Screens of Death. Whenever I tried playing War3, if I didn't get the BSOD, I would get this error. After replacing the ram, the BSODs have stopped, but this error hasn't.

Sadly there is no fixing this. You could try and wait untill a later patch and that may fix it. Make sure everything is in the right directory and nothing is corrupt. Try reinstalling. Also, it may be a possibility that a map trigger could have caused the crash. I made a map, and now it is unplayable :tazz: . Seriously, there is no fixing this issue except a reinstall and reinstalling the latest patch.

My game wouldn't even run untill a later patch. Then it ran very smoothly.

Try this attachment. It might work. Hmmm... my attachment wont show so go to blizzard site and download it.
