I have a lot of programs already that help me mend people's computers, but I find I lose time in installing and afterwards uninstalling them, so the tools I like most are the ones that I can run from a USB key by just double clicking upon them. I honestly don't mind what the program is, how odd, how unlikely to be of use, etc., I would just like to have a link to it below.

Also, if there is a correct name for this type of program that doesn't need installing, could you name it for me so that I could google it.

I will post a few myself here for others tomorrow, hope the list that results helps.

flea...i find the best way to accomplish this is to either use a live linux distro on a cd or usb key with these programs installed...or to use the ubcd for windows (which comes with a lot of tools already installed) or to create a disk with bartpe...which lets you set all of these programs up to run from a cd and what not..
