My friend gave me 4 slackware cds and now i have decided to try to install it. I have 2 HDDs, the 1st one used by windows xp and I'm planning to use the entire 2nd HDD for slackware.

Now, i have tried reading materials on how to install slackware and i've read on some that i must have different partitions for /usr and /home.. and i have no idea what they're talking about.

Does anyone have a good link for installing slackware for novice users? I really need one becuase I dont want to screw up my winxp, Im using it for school and i cant afford to lose it, just incase i screw up installing slackawre. :tazz:

:) and thanks :)
