Hi Can anyone help me?

It seems when I go to some websites, they cause the browser webpages I have open to all close. For example when I go to ....http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/ and try to click on journey planner, the window closes along with any other windows displaying internet stuff.
I use firefox but it also happens when I use internet explorer.

If anyone can help I'd be grateful.

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, try repairing it here: http://www.geekstogo...er-60-t251.html

It also, sounds like you may have some spyware. Follow the directions here: http://www.geekstogo...-Log-t2852.html

I am having a problem with my browser suddenly disappearing. I work from home and have to keep a java chat applet open while I work. It has happened when using my laptop or my desktop, with both Explorer and Firefox. I don't suspect spyware because I did a complete restore on my desktop and it still happened. It only happens while I have the java chat applet open. It will close every page I'm working with. Please help :tazz:

Thank you so much,

I went and downloaded the latest version of java. I did have to delete any old version first but this seems to have fixed the problem.

It does seem to be a Java problem. I removed and reinstalled Java & Firefox. My browser hasn't shut down in 2 days. But I'm glad I found this forum. :tazz: I may have other questions/issues in the future and it's nice to have a place to ask.
