Right Clicking on desktop taking ages

Hi , i have an HP Pavilion Desktop with 2.53GHz Intel Celeron D Processor and 768DDR Ram . And i want to know why when i right click on desktop to get Refresh and Properties etc it takes about 4 seconds why is this

i would strongly reco running a few scans for adware and viruses, then emptying out all the temp files (start > run %temp%, and deleting what it finds). Usually (but not always) that will assist. If that doesn't help, I would then recommend pasting a hjt log in teh security forums and waiting for one of the security guru's to examine it.
