[This isn't an actual solution to any problem, just a thought, but i'll continue to look into it and pitch in where and then i can]

I followed the link:

as posted in the previous post... Finally someone has tried CuCuSoft. In my opinion CuCuSoft is worth the money I payed for it cos it's run hassle free for me so far... I've converted 8 Family Guy episodes from .mpg format to .mp4, 4 Simpsons episodes from DVD to .mp4 and 1 episode of Friends from DVD to .mp4... So far i've come accross no problems.

As a lot of people are saying, it's not so much the convertion that's the problem (after all videora does the same thing) it's the addition of the .mp4 file to the iTunes library... However, as mentioned in that post:

"CuCuSoft is alot easier to use than Videora" (i couldn't comment cos i trialed CuCuSoft 1st then stuck with it, but now you have both sides of the story. Not seen anyone having trouble with CuCuSoft converting and uploading yet)

Maybe try it anyway... something might go wrong in the convertion when using Videora that stops it from uploading (that's a big MAYBE though)...

Anyway, make sure it's the iTunes you got with the iPod (from the disk. Dont worry if you D/L it tho) and that iTunes recognises your iPod as the master device (i.e. it says your name when you plug it in - Joe Bloggs' iPod as a pose to Administrators iPod), I think this is important because i can add video files to my iTunes library when my iPod is plugged in (on my computer), but when i tried to add the same movies to a friends library on my iTunes (on my computer) it wont work (it recognises his iPod as Administrator's iPod) perhaps because iTunes restricts uploading if it's not the master iPod (dont quote me on that, but that appears to be the trend i'm getting)

I will test my mum's iPod (which is yet to be opened) on my iTunes on my computer to see if that is infact the problem... All i can advise is make sure it says Your Name's iPod when it's plugged in, so run through the appropriate steps of setting your iPod/iTunes up...

prob wont solve any probs... working on it tho :/
