Hi There I need some help in getting my browser back from a hijacker.Every time I want to browse the internet my home page gets redirected to the following [bleep] address http:// 213.193.215.174/ssredir/gb.html. This is a home page for a [bleep] site no matter what i do it just keeps comimg up :tazz:

i have tried the following removal tools Spy bot( would not load ) Spy doctor paid for yesterday keeps finding problems but has not resolved the above one despite running scan several times.Norton can not help.
MS spy (find stuff but does not solve the problem).I have another Spy pro. This is a waste of money as it just keeps finding the same ones every time you run a scan it says it fixes them but it looks like a sugar pill.

Has any one got any ideas instead of wiping my whole hard drive and starting again.

Help if you can.

B rgds

Hi Sam thanks very much for responding.I did manage to sort out th eproblem at the weekend I read through a post on this web site from someone who had exactly the same problem. They were advised to download Ewido which I did and this software was the only one that I tried ,and believe me a tried a few that sorted out my problem.
