:D I need to write a huge paper in Japanese (must be typed) and have downloaded the global IME for MS word. I cant get the thing to work. It wont let me switch languages (always returns to english) and the little dialog box to toggle between abc text and hiragana doesnt appear like it does in my computer lab at school. Im frantic, and cant afford ms tech support. PLEASE help me!!! <_<

Did you install the correct version? What version of Office are you running (Click Help -> About)?

This is for Office 2000 and XP:

This is for earlier versions of Office:

I also have the same problem, except mine won't allow me to switch to hiragana; only works with katakana. I thought maybe it was because I'm running Vista...? My version of Office is 2003 SP3. Help? :) :)
