I have a problem when logging on to my internet credit union account , the membership no and password page does not open.
When i press the refresh button i get a blank page with about : blank at the window heading. I am not sure if this is a spyware problem or if its the credit union's web site having a problem.

Here is my hijack this log

Hello, OBE1.

We are sorry for the late reply, the forum has been busy lately.

Are you still having problems accessing secure sites?

If so, let's try this. Make sure to close all browser windows.

Go to Start > Run

Enter those in one at a time, pressing enter each time.

regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll
Reboot, then try to access the site that was giving you problems again.

Hello, OBE1.

Download and run the following HijackThis autoinstall program from Here . Please choose the default location of C:\Program Files\ as the destination. HJT needs to be in its own folder so that the program itself isn't deleted by accident

Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and remove the following entry if it appears.

Paltalk is an adware support client, in order to remove all the spyware from your system, you need to uninstall this. I have hilighted all Paltalk entries red.
Paltalk

Please open Hijackthis, scan, and place a checkmark by the following entries:

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
O4 - Global Startup: palstart.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)

Then delete C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\palstart.exe if it is still there.

Reboot to safe mode by tapping F8 when you turn on your computer and delete it there, if you can't from normal mode.

Please reboot and post a fresh Hijackthis log, if it is clean I'll transfer this thread to the Windows XP forum so they can help you better. :tazz:
