I originally had a Winfixer pop-up that Appeared when starting IE. After running all the recommended fixes, I now get an Ewido Security Suite message about pmnlj.dll in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 and Spyware.Virtumonde. that pops up when I start IE. Here is my Hijackthis log.

• Double-click VundoFix.exe to extract the files

Download and install CleanUp!

Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu).
Set the program up as follows:
Click "Options..."
Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!"
Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):

• Empty Recycle Bins
• Delete Cookies
• Delete Prefetch files
• Cleanup! All Users

Click OK
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program.

It may ask you to reboot at the end, click NO.

Run the Free use Panda Active Scan.

Copy the results of the ActiveScan and paste them here along with a new HijackThis log and the vundofix.txt file from the vundofix folder into this topic.

Hi,
I didn't get too far.
I got to the Safe Mode prompt and selected Safe Mode.
Next I sleected Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.
The next screen was a windows screen asking me to log on ad Administrator or as Ken.
When I choose Admin., I get logged on, but don't have the VundoFix folder available.

When I choose Ken, I get a dark screen with Safe Mode MS® WindowsXP®Build2600.... at the top and Safe Mode at the bottom.
Nothinh more happens and the computer goes into neverland....
I never get to Ken's desktop where the VundoFix folder is located.

During either selection I get a dialog box that says something to the effect that "Windows is running in Safe Mode......Tp proceed working in Safe Mode click.... There is a Yes/No at the bottom.
With the Admin selection I have to click Yes to move on.
With the Ken selection the box disappears on its own.

Please disable SpybotSD’s protection, as it may hinder the removal of the infection. You can enable it after you're clean.

Open Spybot and click on Mode and check Advanced Mode
Check yes to next window.
Click on Tools in bottom left hand corner.
Click on Resident icon.
Uncheck Teatimer box and/or Uncheck Resident.
Close Spybot.

Remove PartyPoker:
Move to Start > Settings > Control Panel
Double click Add/Remove Programs.
Within Add/Remove programs click the "Install/Uninstall" tab or click the "Change or Remove Programs" button.
