I would really appreciate your help by examining my hijackthis log. I followed all the steps you suggested before posting but nothing has worked. When I start up windows, i get these boxes saying "Please wait for the plugin to install" (or something similar) which then takes me to a p*** pop up and I sometimes get a box saying ""Select a country". TDS-3 detected "Pornware.Downoader.Tibsystems.a" but even when I delete it, it comes up again when I reboot. I also often get a taken to a page called "horseserver.net". Also, my computer sometimes shuts down for no apparant reason. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Here's my hijackthis log:

Recycle Bin
Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Reboot and post a fresh log.

What do you mean by the Restricted & Trusted Zone list?
Also, I tried to install the above zip file but for some reason it wouldn't let me install it after I downloaded it.

Let's turn off system restore for now. Directions are below. Do not turn it back on until you are all clean.

To reset your restore points, please note that you will need to log into your computer with an account which has full administrator access. You will know if the account has administrator access because you will be able to see the System Restore tab. If the tab is missing, you are logged in under a limited account.

(Windows XP)
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.

Download Spybot Search and Destroy and run it. Do not install teatimer.
I think this horseserver is a new infection. I looked it up a couple of days ago when someone else became infected and there wasn't anything on it. I searched today and I got more hits. No one has come up with a definitive fix that I could find, but one person said they did use Spybot during the process.

This thing's pretty stubborn. Like I said, everything's working well except for this stupid horseserver.net popup. Also, when I was running spybot last night my computer kept shutting down part way through. Don't know if it was because it was overheating or not. Worked fine today though. Disable Spyware Guard, etc. It will interfere with the fixes.


Click Here to download TheKillbox. Extract TheKillBox.exe from the zip file and double click it to open it up. In the 'Enter Full Path and Filename to Delete' box, copy and paste these entries one by one, clicking 'Find and Kill This File' after each one:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\tibs3.exe

Click 'Exit' when done.

Note: If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, download and run: http://www.javacools...ngfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.

Reboot. Hit control>>alt>>delete and stop it if it's in task manager.

Run Hijack This and see if it's still there. If it is, put a check mark in its box. Clean out your temp. files. Reboot and post a new log.

Ugh...glad you're not getting sick of me yet!

Things have taken a slight turn for the worse. Getting these klickfeed.com pages as my home page and horseserver.com is still popping up although the page doesn't actually load. Also, for some reason I can't delete svchost from the Windows32 directory (even if I'm in safe mode) b/c it says the file's in use or protected. Please help. Thanks.

OK Norm. Please do not try to delete svchost any more. It was in your windows directory the first time around. Now, it's in it's rightful place in Windows/System 32.

You have a trojan. You also have a dialer. Be sure you follow these instructions.

1. Make sure system restore is turned off.
2. Uninstall Spyware Guard. If it is installed, it won't let us fix anything and anything I type from here on out will be worthless. OK?
3. I need you to run the Cleaner again. If that doesn't work for you, there is a free one from tds3 diamond cs. Just google it.
4. Run the free virus scan from housecall or Panda (use IE to download --I like thisone).
5. Run Spybot Search and Destroy.
6. Run Adaware again.

Please clean out your temp. files.

Reboot . Open your task manager control>>alt>>delete and put a stop to tibs3.exe.


and run Hijack This again. Put a check mark next to these if they are there inyour log.

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\oyobji.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\ieexec.exe
C:\Program Files\PartyPoker <- this folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\telcmd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\hicom.exe

Reboot your PC.

This infection adds some crap to the temp folders.

This folder needs to be deleted (if it exists):
C:/Program Files/WebSiteViewer (spacing might differ)
