I don't know if this belongs in Hardware or Software, so I'll put it here. I have a few-month old Toshiba Satellite M45 series laptop, and the built-in multi-card reader worked fine for a while. Now every time I insert a card the computer just hangs. I cannot do anything (mouse moves, but it takes a long time for anything to respond). I cannot use Ctrl-Alt-Delete, so I always have to hold down the power button to shut it down. I now have a camera full of pictures and nowhere to put them. I tried using safe-mode to transfer the photos, but the card reader doesn't work in safe mode. What can I do to locate and fix the problem? Thanks so much in advance!
