When online i can't get pull down menus to work and if i go to a website that tries to redirect me it won't work just says: If you are seeing this page your browser settings prevent you from automatically redirecting to a new url

I don't use XP so not sure what M$ has done to the security settings for IE6.0, especially after SP2 has been installed, but I would check these settings in IE, as well as, what your XP firewall settings are. I'm sure it's a default setting you may have to change.

I haven't a clue as to the pull down menu problem.

Hopefully, someone more familiar with XP will come up with the exact solutions and or steps to take.
