Here is my currently configured Compaq V2000Z laptop:

AMD Turion™ 64 ML-30 (1.6GHz/1MB L2 Cache)
14.0 WXGA BrightView Widescreen (1280x768)
ATI RADEON® XPRESS 200M
Firewire/8-in-1 Card Reader
512MB DDR SDRAM (1x512MB)
60 GB 5400 RPM Hard Drive
DVD+/-RW/R & CD-RW Combo w/Double Layer Support
54g™ 802.11b/g WLAN w/ 125HSM/SpeedBooster™
12 Cell Lithium Ion Battery

I can add another 512 stick for less from Best Buy. I get a student discounted price of $972.72-$50 MIR=$922.72. There is NO shipping or tax. Has anyone seen a similar system priced less elsewhere?

Black Friday is the day after thanksgiving sale.
I know walmart is selling a laptop for $398 on BF and Dell has one for like $399 or somthing.
I wouldn't mind stopping into walmart and picking me up one of those laptops but I dont have $400 right now.
