Does anyone know how to create a linux boot partition for linux(preferable slax) without actuall first having linux installed, becasue i cant get the slax live disk to work and i want to just stick it on my pen and boot straight off, and havent got time to muck around with different distros and booting up all the time, and i dont want to put a new partition on this PC mucking wiht linux was ok whe it was a bangered old PC but this is my gaming rig and its a windows only on the HD.

Or a better idea can someone who has put this and runs it off a USB pen put up a quick idiot proof guide so we can get it pinned, it would be a great way to encourage more users to linux as many have a pen drive and dont particualrly want to partition the HD and start messing with dual boots.
