Hi

Im trying to delete the folder "Zonelab" but am unable to do so, the following message appears.

"Error Deleting File or Folder. Cannot delete dbghelp.dll. Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use."

We have had to uninstall Zone Alarm manually as the uninstaller wouldn't work and the above is all that's left to do.

Does anyone have any helpful uggestions on how & what I should do.

Many thanks

Click start then run, type msconfig then press enter, click start up, look for any Zone Alarm entries, untick these, click apply and reboot

Try to remove the file

If no change

Get Move On Boot

http://www.snapfiles...moveonboot.html

This is for another programme called Move On Boot

Hi Keith

Thanks for that Keith, however I should have mentioned that the problem is in the registry when I go regedit >HKLM> Software. Zone Alarm still appears and when I try to delete, the deletion goes so far, stops and the message (Im trying to delete the folder "Zonelab" but am unable to do so)

"Error Deleting File or Folder. Cannot delete dbghelp.dll. Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use."

pops up and I can go no further.

Any thoughts.

Many thanks
