every time i boot up my computer and log on to my account i get a message box that says 'Invalid backweb application Id 4448364' it deosnt appear to make any difference or have any effect on the computers performance, but non the less i would still appriciate any help on aradicating this message....thnx in advance :tazz:

We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet!

Hey Tiddler

Your log looks clean of malware :tazz:

Rescan with Hijack and check and fix this entry

Reboot

It is a Packard bell Automatic update feature that is not needed.Updating can be done manually at any time.

Post a new log and Let me know if this solves the problem
