I followed the steps in the "You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log"

I came apon this forum in search for a way to remove the virtumundo winfixer adware. Please help me. This is my Hijack this Log

According to both logs submitted, you used to have Virtumonde on your PC, but now you haven't, however, you do need to do a slight tidy-up.

I note that you are running HijackThis from Desktop; please create a new folder for it (for example C:\Program Files\Hijackthis\Hijackthis.exe) and move the programme into it. It is very important you do this before anything else since backup files can be deleted if they are not within their own folder!

Rescan with HijackThis. Close all programmes leaving only HijackThis running. Place a checkmark or tick against the following:

O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {FC148228-87E1-4D00-AC06-58DCAA52A4D1} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtsp.dll (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: awtsp - C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtsp.dll (file missing)

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

To be safe on this, please wait 24 hours after doing the fix and then generate a fresh HJT log and post it into this thread.
