task manager won't show up....

when pressing control, alt, delete the task manager does not show up. does anyone know how i can fix this problem?

ok, this might be a sypware or virus problem casuing this, run a scan using any anti-virus or spyware program you have, if you havent got one, use this www.webroot.com

i think that is the problem but if its not, then post again and i reasearch your problem

Please go to the malware forum in my signature and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

i've used spysweeper and adaware to scan my computer and it still does not show up.

I am going to follow the directions in the malware section to see if that helps though.
