I've tried download.com but the few that were freeware didn't have good reviews. What are some of your suggestions?

What do you mean minimum of stuff? What stuff? How about freesaver.com, they make a lot of claims... here's what they say on their home page...

Freesaver.com is the original truly free screensaver site on the Net: no shareware, no nags, only freeware. Browse and choose from over 1600 free Windows screensavers organised in 16 categories, or use our search engine to locate a specific screensaver. All listed screensavers have been scanned for adware, spyware and viruses.

know anything about them?

Hello,

When looking for any certain type of programs (such as screensavers), I usually try the large download sites first that screen the files and can ascertain if they are spyware/adware free. I use download.com, and others like sites like tucows.com. Either one will return a large number of hits for screensavers.

Cheers,
