Logitech Setpoint

i have the Logitech MediaPlay wireless mouse on my computer, and with it comes a program called setpoint.exe. Recently, within the last 3 weeks setpoint has been going crazy. At ramdom times when im not even touching the mouse, it will open iTunes, raise or lower the volume ( then when i try to correct the volume it will start to go in the opposite direction ) and sometimes when im on the internet it will close out of the screen or go back to the previous screen without me doing anything. This problem is really getting to me so if someone could help it would be much appreciated.
