Win2k machine looses power on it's own

Any general troubleshooting for a win2k PIII box that randomly shuts off on it's own?

For a machine of that age the first thing I would do is open the case and dust off the CPU cooler fins. Then start the machine and make sure all the fans, especially the CPU fan, are working and stay working.

Thanks. I asked before I went to the person's house to look at it. It was a bad plug on the power strip!
