I had a couple of the experts look at the log last night, but neither has gotten back to me as yet. Since it has now been three days since you posted the log, please post a link to the topic HERE....

The malware forum is a busy place and posts do, unfortunately, get overlooked.

Ok super5...let's see if anything has changed.

Press the Windows Start key (between Ctrl and Alt) and click on Run. Click the Browse button, navigate to the Windows folder, and select "Control"...click "Ok". Double click the "Add/Remove Programs" icon. Does the function open?

Good Morning Wannabe, did as you instructed, after I clicked on open, a window came up that looks like the dos command window with a message window on top of that with the following: C:\windows\rundll32 exe is not a valid MS-DOS program file. It may be damaged.

super5...

I've sent you the missing file attached to an e-mail. When you receive it, download it to your desktop, right click on the file, and choose "Rename". Change the bbk file extention to exe and click on the desktop to set the change. Note: if the file extension (bbk) does not display, open the My Documents folder, click "Tools" then "Folder Options", then click on the "View" tab. Scroll down the list and remove the check in the box next to "Hide file extensions for known file types" and accept the change. The file should end up being rundll32.exe.

Right click on the file and choose "Copy". Navigate to C:\Windows and "Paste" the file into the Windows folder. When asked if you want to replace or overwrite the file, choose "Yes".

Reboot and try to access Control Panel.
