HELP! Please!!, I have a p4 2.4 g asus p4sd-la 2 gig ram in an hp a282n, it is linked in a home network to 3 other computers and 2 other printers with high speed internet. Every time it starts up, the found new hardware wizard opens up and says it found a "printer". Cannot find drivers for it and doesn't install properly. When I tried to print to my old printer, it wouldn't print, and trying to print on our home network to another printer, it comes out all garbled and messed up. The other computers work fine. About 2 weeks ago, I had to reload windows (format ,etc.) due to a severe registry corruption. I have nothing attatched to this computer and it still finds a "printer" at every startup. I have tried uninstalling ports, scsi controllers printers, almost everything. Just now tried 2 restore points but no sucess. I am thinking that possibly the mobo is going bad. This started about 4 days ago when I was scaning some photos and they started coming through to photoimpression 4 looking like they are viewed from a severe angle. Just now my taskbar went haywire and I now have a double sized taskbar that I cannot change.I have no clue as to what to do. I would appreciate any help.
Thank you, Aaron
