A friend's computer had an infection that took over the task bar with faked security notices saying the computer was infected and that windows recommended some security tools. Then the browser went to a site advertising, among others, Spyaxe. I could not remove it. I sent an e-mail to Spyaxe and got a reply from Joshua Veronimo at [email protected] saying the thing was done by a rogue affiliate. He also sent apologies and a removal tool. Do you know any thing about it?
