Hi Folks,

I've got 2 computers in the house one is Running XP Pro and the other is running a dual boot of XP Pro and Ubuntu Linux, but it's mainly running on the Linux. How can I network the two of them together ?? Is it possible and what would I need to do so ?? Both compters have network cards installed and I have a network cable. Is it just a case of plugging the cable in and running the Ntwork Wizrd on XP ??

Also, when I manage to get them togetehr ?? Will I be able to run both computers on the internet at once, sharing my 2mb internet connection from the one modem connected to the XP Pro PC ??

Thanks in anticipation for any help. Much Apprectiated. :tazz:

Hello Hello_Moto and welcome to Geeks to Go, <------ :tazz:

This is a new one for me.... Since I just started using linux last week and still learning it... I cant really offer much in the way of a step by step How-To, but I can at least point you in the direction where you might find it. Check out these links and post back if they are helpful in getting your problem resolved please:

Thanks for the links ! I'll look through them and get started. I am a total novice when it comes to Linux !!

Just a pity it doesn't have a 'Network Setup Wizard' like XP does !
