I have a brand new dell xps desktop computer. I get an error message similar to this whenever I plug a usb device into one of the ports. The message tells me to click on the bubble for a list of ports but nothing happens when I click on it. What is wrong with the computer? How can it be fixed?

Have you got all the updates

Click start then right click my computer, properties, hardware, device manager then scroll to USB Controllers, click the + and look for enhanced
