what is the make and model of your pc or mother board it looks like you may be installing the wrong usb drivers with this info. we can find the right driver for you to download.

If it doesn't show in the device manager I suspect USB may be disabled in the BIOS. Try entering your BIOS and see if you can find an option to enable USB connections.
To get into your BIOS, restart your computer and immediatley begin tapping one of the following keys: F1, F2, F10, Delete, Tab, Ctrl+S. Keep trying until one works. Also, the BIOS will usually display which button to press to "enter setup" during POST (if it flashes by too fast, press the Pause key).
