[mak65]

Hi,
I looked trough some of the posts here and tried to resolve my problem on my own. I didn't have much luck. (System restore really saved me that time...*phew*)

Sorry to be a bother and thank you (in advance) for any help you can offer.


This malware has frequent popups, sometimes to different websites.

I figured out how to get rid of it after examining some of the posts on this subject. I'd like to say thank you to all. I couldn't have done this without you.
I have proven, once again, that I am (slightly) smarter than the average bear...but please don't tell the bear this, as he becomes malcontent.
I have one question in closing, though: What happens if I had more than what you recommend checked in Cleanup40? It was the only mistake I made (everything was checked by default)...I canceled it before it finished and made the corrections before I ran the program again. The computer's running ok...so far.
The bear may yet have the last laugh.
