Murray was so helpful and quick with his response...I took his advice, went to the help page and performed scans on Ad-Aware, Spy Bot, and etc.....downloaded Windows updates and then got the hijack log.
Before I post the log, I wanted to point out something. While doing the Ad-Aware scan, the Norton Anti-virus kicked in and gave me an error message, saying that a bloodhound virus was found. When I clicked on "fix the problem", the screen went blue and said the following:
Unable to repair the file C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\AAWTMP\C3007853\1464F9\A0358385.cpy
Still infected with the Bloodhound.W32.EP virus.
Stop, Continue, Delete, Exclude, Quarantine.
I clicked on Continue and I think it was quarantined. But as the scan progressed, it found about 15 or so more cpy files affected with this virus. I isolated these files in the Quarantine file and a message box popped up, telling me I can access these files in the Quarantine folder in Norton Antivirus.
Also, once I performed these scans and rebooted, my URL home page problem in Internet Explorer as stated in my original post appears to be fixed (the changes wouldn't stay even after clicking on Apply and it was taking me to some weird page).
With that said, here's the hijack log.....
