First thing is open the case and check for dust ofnthe CPU cooler. If there is any, gently dust it off with a soft brush, or use canned air to clean it. Most machines need to be dusted out two or three time in their lifetime, or once a year if they are running 24/7. Also make sure the fans are turning.
