Yes, the forum here at g2g is at this site: http://www.invisionpower.com

Although it does cost $185, its worth it for a lifetime of free updates!

But phpbb is allways a good free one to use!

So are you going to get a free phpbb forum?

You can also customize the style of the forum!

Its GREAT for a free one!

ya thats the one i'm thinking about doing it looks pretty good. I have one last question do you know if there is any way to get a higher ranking on search engines by doing anything. i have read articles on it but they seem dumb to me and i don't think they would end up doing to much. trying to get more people to my site as it is for a good cause and want as many people to know about it as possible. www.afrique2007.org
thanx alot once again for your help. and is there anything else that i might need to know about creating with that forum?

Well,

You have to have mysql on your server. (To run the forum, you dont need to know anything about mysql though).

And when you install the forum, you can make user levels, and bann users etc.

You will be the admin!

And to advertise your site...

1) http://www.321hits.com/?refid=5360

2) Meta tage are what you include in your html pages. Google picks them up and adds you to the google search engine. Meta tags are really easy to create! You decide on what you want ti to say, and you put in the keywords which ppl will find your site with!

Post back and i will tell you how to create meta tags if you need help!

Ok,

This is basically a meta tag...

<meta name="description" content="This is our about us page! It has a brief description on the history of allsortshop.com">
<meta name="keywords" content="allsortshop, about allsortshop, history of allsortshop, allsortshop about us, all about allsortshop, allsortshop about us page">
<meta name="robots"content="index,follow">
<meta name="language" content="English">
<meta name="revisit-after" content="10">

Basically you put this code between the <head></head> tags.

Just copy this one and then fill out your keywords and put your description in.

Or you could just go to this meta tag generator, fill out the infomation and it will generate a meta tag for you...

Its fine!

And, meta tags work with php aswell i think, as long as you put them between the <head></head> tags!

Keywords in the url and title are more important than meta tags. I find it that google often completely ignores meta descriptions...
